Workflow Scanning on a Xerox Photocopier

Workflow Scanning is a feature of the Xerox photocopiers for scanning your documents directly to a USB stick. You would use this feature over the ‘scan to email’ if the size of the scanning job that you have would be too big to send in an email. For example, you have a large number of pages that you want to copy, or you want to scan in very high resolution.

Step 1:

Login to the Xerox Photocopier by swiping your Bishop’s ID card, or using the alternate login. Then access the device.

Step 2:

Select the Workflow Scanning option from the list of services.

Step 3:

Insert your USB key into the USB port to the left of the menu screen. The Xerox Photocopier will recognize that there is a USB key and select it as the storage option.

Step 4:

Select the settings for your scanning job, then put your document either on the glass by lifting the top, or into the document feeder tray up top. Once this is done, press Start!

Step 5:

Once it says ‘Complete’, you can safely remove your USB stick and log out from the photocopier.
