Doing group work with your students over a traditional video conference has always been a challenge, requiring one to set up multiple video calls which have to be juggled and supervised in a non-evident manner. The BlueJeans video conference platform has an elegant solution to this problem, however, in the form of breakout rooms. Breakout rooms allow you to create any number of sub-rooms within a single BlueJeans meeting and assign participants to them. These breakout rooms are self contained private rooms, and anything said within them does not get transmitted to the other breakout rooms or the main space of the call.
