Follow the instructions below to configure your Bishop’s mail on your Android device. You’ll find screenshots just beside the instructions that may be helpful, but if you have any questions or problems don’t hesitate to contact the ITS Helpdesk in person on the first floor of the Library Learning Commons, by email at helpdesk@ubishops.ca, or by phone at x2273.

Step 1:
Go to the Settings app on your phone (depending on your device, this may be a icon on your home screen, or from your home screen you may have to tap a menu icon like those shown at right, and then choose Settings)
Step 2:
Under Cloud and Accounts, select Accounts. At the bottom of the next page, select Add account
Step 3:
For the account type, choose Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
Step 4:
On the next page, enter your email and password. Then select Manual Setup.
Step 5:
Fill in the information as shown:
'Email address' is your full Bishop's email
'Domain' is bishops
'Username' is your full Bishop's email again
'Exchange server' is outlook.office.com
The password is your regular password for Bishop's
Step 6:
Choose the name you would like your account to have (this can be anything you like - it's just a label), and then select Finish setup.
