Microsoft Exchange is discontinuing legacy authentication methods on October 1, 2022. As a result, your account settings on your iPhone/iPad must be updated to use a modern authentication method. You will have to verify your email settings and remove/re-add your Bishop’s account if it is not using the modern authentication method.
Once you are connected to Wi-Fi go to your home screen and tap the Settings app.
Scroll down the settings and tap on the Mail app.
Tap on Accounts
Tap on your Bishop’s account
Tap on your account under “EXCHANGE”
If your settings appear as the image on the right, then you are configured to use modern authentication. No action is necessary on your part in this case.
If your settings appear as in the image on the right here, then you are using the old authentication method and you will need to remove and re-add your Bishop’s account. Continue with this procedure.
Tap Done on the settings screen to return to the previous screen (or follow the instructions above from the beginning to get back to the account screen).
Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Delete from My iPhone (or iPad).
Once the account is deleted, follow this procedure to re-add your Bishop’s account using the new settings:
