1. Where to find my student ID
Finding your own information can sometimes be difficult. Powercampus self-service is where you will find all of your information from your student number to your account balance to your transcript.

Sometimes you will need to provide a student number. You will be able to find it on your Bishop’s Student ID. You can also find it once you have logged in to Powercampus, you will click on “My Profile” > “Account Information” and it will be the number next to “system ID”
There are two methods to find your ID number, the physical way and the digital way. Most likely, you will be able to find your ID number the physical way, as it is on your Student ID Card, which you should have on you at all times.
Method One: Your Student ID Card
Locate your student ID. If you do not have an ID, go to the Paterson Front Desk and they will take your picture and print you a card. On the front of your card, to the right of your name and to the left of your date of birth is your 9-digit student ID number.
Method Two: myBU + Powercampus
If you do not have a student card or it is not readily accessible, you can log in through myBU and find it in Powercampus (where you register for classes and find tuition statements). Log into myBU from the Bishop’s homepage. On the right, under “Campus Applications & Sites”, select “Powercampus Self Service”.
Along the top of the page are several tabs. Click on “My Profile”.
On the “My Profile” tab, select “Account Information”.
Your student ID number is listed as “System ID”. Even though it is hyphenated it is the same 9 digits as those that would be on your Student ID.
2. Who should I contact?
Below are the different departments who can contact based on what you need.
“I’m not able to register for a course”
Registration can be stressful, especially when you want or need a certain course and it won’t let you take it.
In the case where you have a “STOP” on your account, it means there is a reason based on your student account that you cannot register.

If it tells you you are not able to take that specific course
E-mail the head of your program’s department(if it is a course from that department) or the Registrar’s office.

4. How to reset my Bu password
You are a new student but your login info that was provided does not seem to be working.if this is the case, you will either need to unlock your account or reset your password. This is where the ITS Helpdesk can assist you. E-mail us or give us a call and be ready to send or show Government Issued ID in order to proceed with a password reset.
