Out of Office – Automatic Replies

Out of Office - Automatic Replies

This page will show you how to set up your automatic out of office replies on the desktop or browser version of Outlook.


Instructions for desktop version (Office 2019 or Office 365):

Step 1:

Navigate to the Outlook menu in the top left of the application. From there, select the Automatic Replies button. This will open a new window.

Step 2:

Turn on automatic replies. From here, you can select a date and time range for the replies, and turn on (or off) automatic replies for people outside of the Bishop’s organization.

Remember to click OK to save your changes.


Instructions for browser version:

Step 1:

Sign in to your Outlook account in a web browser.

Step 2:

Find the settings button (small gear icon) in the top right of the Outlook page. Open All Outlook Settings. This will open a new window.

Step 3:

Navigate to the Mail tab on the left-hand side, then the Automatic Replies sub-menu option. Turn on automatic replies. Then you can select a date and time range for the replies, and turn on (or off) automatic replies for people outside of the Bishop’s organization.

Remember to save your changes.
