Borrowing Equipment – Student
Faculty, staff, and students who would like to borrow ITS equipment should place an “Equipment Loan” ticket through our Octopus portal.
Faculty and staff members may visit the ITS Helpdesk in the Library Learning Commons to borrow IT equipment, but we strongly recommend that a ticket is placed in advance to guarantee the requested equipment is available and ready to use.

Most of the equipment can be borrowed for up to 72hr while some equipment cannot be taken outside the Library Learning Commons.
Any exceptions will need to be approved by ITS in advance.

Audio/Visual Cables
We have a large variety of Audio and Visual Cables. There is a high likelihood that we have exactly what you're looking for.
- Video cables such as HDMI, VGA, or for other displays
- Audio cables such as RCA, XLR , or for other audio devices
Cameras/Tripods/Other Video Equipment
- We have Stationary, Phone and Fluid-head tripods
- We have other lighting equipment for shooting videos

Laptops/External Drives/Dongles
We have laptops and a multitude of Dongles in case you don't have one. The dongles are not allowed to be brought home, and are more for setups than rent-able equipment.

Extension Cords/Power Bars
Generally we recommend that if you are borrowing equipment for a setup that you take an extension cord to make sure the charger reaches the destination. We have lots of those as well as other equipment.
