Connecting your cellular device

Instructions for connecting a phone to the tabletop speaker and screen are shown on the device itself. The following serves as a guide in case there are difficulties or clarifications needed.

Step 1:

The screen will likely be on the home screen. It will look like this. Tap the phone icon on the bottom.

Step 2:

Tap “Bluetooth”.

Step 2:

Connect to “LIB122” by going to the Bluetooth settings on your phone.

On an Android (left), these settings vary, but you can search “bluetooth” in your phone’s settings to find it. On an iOS device (right), it is on the top of the settings along with Airplane Mode and Wifi.

Step 3:

When your phone is connected, you will see a dial screen and your phone’s device name will be displayed at the top. You can dial normally from here, and the audio will come out of the speaker behind the screen. Place your phone call.

Step 4:

You can control your call from the screen, such as hanging up or opening the dial pad to dial an extension. You can also mute the microphone on screen (although tapping the top of the console is probably easier) or control the speaker volume with the buttons on the bottom right.
