Outlook: Safe Senders & Block Lists

The Safe Senders List

Adding a sender to your ‘Safe Senders’ list prevents any mail from that email address from being sent to your junk mail. This is useful if personal email from family or friends is being sent to your junk without your knowledge. To add an email address to your safe senders list:

Step 1:

In the ‘Home‘ tab, select the ‘Junk‘ menu.

The Block List

Adding an email address to your 'Block' list prevents mail from that address arriving in your mail account at all. This is handy if you've received unwanted email from the same sender multiple times or when you've discovered a sender is sending your account spam. To add an email address to your 'Block' list:

Step 1:

In the ‘Home‘ tab, select the ‘Junk‘ menu.
