If you have an Apple Mac computer, and are taking a Proctorio remotely-proctored exam for the first time, you may be prompted to enable an additional security setting to allow Google Chrome to record the screen of your computer.
(Note that this is a generic permission for Chrome to be able to record your screen…this is a permission that could be needed for many different software packages and it is quite possible this permission will already be set on your computer.)

Step 2:
To enable Proctorio access in privacy settings: Turn on Screen Recording for Google Chrome.
