A Bishop’s account is created for you as soon as you are accepted to or hired at the university. This is the username and password that you will use for all standard Bishop’s services, including your email address, personal account, campus computers, online class management, and more.
Your Bishop’s account provides you with access to all the following services, to log in just fill in your username and password:
* Please Note: do not type “@ubishops.ca” after your username – you should log in to all Bishop’s services with just your username (e.g. JSMITH12). Your username is not case-sensitive, but your password is, so be careful of caps lock.
You will be asked to change your provided password as soon as possible from the default for security reasons – you can do this at any time by visiting this link
Students
Your username is the first letter of your first name, then your last name, and then the last two numbers of the year you started here, to a maximum of 14 characters – for example if your name is Jack Whittingstall and you registered here in 2012, your username would be jwhittingsta12.
Staff & Faculty
When you are hired, a username and password is automatically created for you. The username is the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, up to a maximum of 8 characters – for example, if your name is Jill Carpenter your username would be jcarpent. If you have not received your username and password upon being hired, contact the HR Department to make sure we have accurate contact information for you
